Laurence O'Donnell says that Matt Cooper's source that Plame was a an active CIA agent was Karl Rove - one version at http://msnbc.msn.com/id/8445696/site/newsweek/. I think this also means that Karl Rove could be charged with treason for disclosing the name of an active CIA agent.
But I can't imagine that W didn't know about this..

Newsweak is an unreliable source of news these days (recall the Koran flushing debacle).
I would suggest Teddy Kennedy is commiting treasonous acts on a daily basis with his seditious speeches slamming US command, troops and policy during wartime.

Karl Rove will face treason charges shortly after Henry Kissinger is brought to the Hague to face war crimes charges for the illegal bombings of Cambodia and Laos. In other words, don't hold your breath. Once you attain a certain amount of political power you become immune to the norms of legal responsibility; everything hinges upon politics. For example, Clinton would have never faced impeachment if the Democrats had sufficient control over the House and Senate. Rove will only be held accountable if the Dems regain control of the White House and the Senate or the House *and* he still represents some sort of threat to the Dems . . .
