Letting no good show go uncopied, I see that Warner Bros is going to offer "Mountain". Let's see:
- Young son leaves family
- Patriarch dies, leaving family business to young son
- Older son feels betrayed
- Matriarch will now open up her repressed feelings
- Teenage daughter needs to be reconnected with
- Evil empire wants to take over their family business.
- Lots of old family secrets uncovered.
- Young son caught between 2 women.
- A gay love interested
Geez, sounds familiar doesn't it? Maybe they should have a 3rd party who works at the family firm invest in it too. And have flashbacks of the dad talking to the family. Of course, it's not bold enough like SFU to have one of the men actually be openly gay and go through gay issues. And they won't have nearly as messed up relationships, like Brenda and her brother.
I predict an early death.
