Restaurant Magazines published it's list of top 50 restaurants, npr version of the list. It was really cool to see that we have been to the #4 ranked restaurant, Tetsuya's in Sydney. And we lucked out in going to #42 ranked Rockpool. But now I'm really sad that MarkN and I didn't go to Per Se when we had the chance!
There were some definite oddities about the UK based mag's list. It was a bit over the top that 14 of the restaurants are from the UK, beating out France with 9. The British, 50% more fine "Best" restaurants than the French? And Canada got a big zero, despite having restaurants like Lumiere who is an Iron Chef winner. And Japan gets the goosegg as well.
