Snooze vs one of the Best Grey Cup games ever: a new dad's choice

| | Comments (0)

At 5:45 pm, at the start of the 4th quarter of the Grey Cup, I turned off the tv. The game pitted the Montreal Alouettes vs Edmonton Eskimos for the Canadian Football League championship. I opted for snoozing.

When I woke up at about 6:35, the game was over. Last minute regulation drives led to double overtime with 2 OT touchdowns and a winning field goal by the Esks. Note: CFL gives each team a possession so a coin toss doesn't decide the game.

You know what? I'm still pleased with my choice. I *really* needed that nap.
