Wow, only a few entries since the kids were 2 months old, and now they are 3 months old. Actually, they were 3 months old a week ago as their b-day is Nov 12th.
They are doing great.. We had a wonderful 3 month birthday present, the went to sleep the night before their birthday at 8pm and awoke at 7 am.. How about that for a present! Of course, we were awake for good parts of the night waiting for them to wake up, you know how it is as a parent. They usually sleep from about 8pm to 7 am with one feed in between, usually before 11pm..
We were slill slightly concerned about Gwen's weight so we bought a scale. She's doing fine, she weighs 13 lbs. The Bryce-man is still growing like crazy, up to 17.4 lbs. He's almost outgrown the car seat, his feet hang over the end.
Last weekend was an amazing weekend for the family. We got out before 9:30 am on Sunday with the whole family to have breakfast at Granville Island, buy some groceries, go for a walk at false creek, watch the ducks land and sprawl on the ice, and then make it back home by 11:15.. We're really trying to get used to going out with the kids and keeping active, but it is really hard to get both of them fed, changed, etc. with some time to spare before the next meal.
They are both smile-monsters now, very rewarding. They are developing some interesting personality habits. Bryce seems to prefer breast milk and will cry a fair bit when we feed him formula. We've been having a great time at Soul Mama Goose, and the kids are really enjoying the songs. Rolly-polly and Nelly went over the ocean are faves.
