I just purchased an iMac for our living room. We went for the 20" with 4GB ram and 750GB hard-drive for all our kids videos. HD sure chews up room. It should arrive just after I get back from the TAG f2f in Bristol. After that, a bunch of playing around.
After that it's a new wireless 4in1 printer so that we can print in the basement from the iMac.
The upstairs will be complete when I get a real amp hooked up to the iMac to power our 4 inside and 2 outside B&W speakers. Any suggestions on small good amps anybody?
Next up are a new MacBook Pro and a 3G iPhone. I'll wait until the Apple early June conference. Maybe a 1TB wireless drive or I could keep my PC with 750G available. Not quite sure about all the network stuff.
I don't think I'll need to get a MacPro for downstairs, I'm hoping the 2 new computers will do the job.
In case you didn't quite deduce it, we're going full on Apple now. It should be fun.
