Looks like all 3 major highways out of Vancouver into the rest of Canada are closed because of avalanches (canwest story). The story didn't report the Hope-Princeton Highway slide I heard about on the radio.
The flooding on the roads here is quite tremendous. I've walked the 4 inches of freezing water/slush to get the kids to school. The ditches and rivers at D's parents in Langley are overflowing.
Crazy times.
